A Guided Tour of the New Glarus 360 Website
From breaking news to community announcements, here is how to navigate NewGlarus360.com and find exactly what you are looking for.

NewGlarus360.com is now live. Built from the ground up, the new website is designed to be a central hub for local news, community information and public resources serving New Glarus and the surrounding area. From breaking news to everyday community updates, everything is organized to be easy to find, easy to read and easy to use.
Here is a walkthrough of how the site is organized and what lives where.
Top Menu Bar
The top menu bar is available on every page and is your main navigation tool.
Home brings you back to the front page at any time. You can also return home by clicking the New Glarus 360 logo at the top or bottom of the page.
The Announcements page is where you will find community announcements, including births, engagements, weddings, anniversaries, military news, honors, graduations, job promotions and new hires. The most recent announcements always appear at the top. Announcements are normally $15 each, but they are free through July 1st. So, with high school graduation soon around the corner, feel free to take advantage of this feature.
Calendar is a community calendar where businesses and nonprofit organizations can add events. These events will also be added to The Weekender newsletter. This is designed to be a shared resource for what is happening around New Glarus. Businesses and organizations will also have the option to sell tickets directly through the calendar if they choose.
Classifieds will fully launch in February. Once live, four lines of classified ads will be free through the end of the year.
Marketplace is our digital version of the local yellow pages. Business subscribers will have detailed listings organized by category, making it easy to find products and services throughout greater New Glarus.
Public Notices will include legally required announcements, such as government meeting notices, hearings and other official actions. This section will also house approved meeting minutes for government entities as they become available.
The Contact page is the best way to reach us directly.
Login allows existing members to sign in to their NewGlarus360.com accounts.
The magnifying glass icon opens a search window, making it easy to find past stories or specific topics.
The sun and moon icon lets you toggle between light mode and dark mode, depending on your preference.
Subscribe or Account is where you can manage your membership. If you are logged in, this is where your account information lives. If you are not a member, this button will say Subscribe and this is where you can view available subscription options.
Main Menu Bar and Categories
The main menu bar features the tags and categories we use to organize every news story we publish. These categories reflect our core coverage areas. Clicking All will show every recent story, regardless of category.
The Home Page Layout
Every article shows a primary image, along with the category, title, date it was published, how long it will take to read, and author(s). Click on it and the article will open.
On the Home page, the far-right column is called Latest. Every new article appears here first, with the most recent story at the top. Clicking Latest will show a full list of recent coverage.
The large photo and story in the center of the page is the featured story. This is the most important news item at that moment.
To the right of the featured story, you will see past featured stories until they are replaced by new ones.
Below the columns at the top of the Home page are category areas and an Editor’s Choice section. Each category shows the four most recent stories in that area. Clicking any red tag will take you to a page showing all stories filed under that topic.
Footer Navigation
At the bottom of the page, clicking the New Glarus 360 logo will return you to the top of the home page.
You will also find a list of tags and categories here, along with links to useful pages such as the Archive, News Tips, Submit an Event and more.
Social media and email links can also be found in the far-right column in the footer, making it easy to follow New Glarus 360 on Facebook, Instagram or X. Or to contact us directly using our email address.
Our goal with the new website is simple: make local news easier to find, easier to navigate and easier to engage. We encourage readers to explore, click around and make NewGlarus360.com part of their daily routine.
– Take a few minutes to explore the new site, create an account or subscribe, and let us know if you have ideas or feedback. New Glarus 360 is built for the community, and we want it to work for you.
