A New Chapter Rolls Forward for New Glarus Bowling

A new club sport is quietly building momentum this winter at New Glarus High School, offering students a competitive outlet that blends individual focus, team support and a deep sense of belonging. The New Glarus High School Bowling Club is in its inaugural season, and for supervisors Kris and Caleb Laeser Benson, the journey has already proven meaningful both on and off the lanes.

Kris and Caleb bring years of bowling experience to the program. Caleb is a Monticello native, while Kris has called New Glarus home for nearly two decades. Both have been involved in junior and high school bowling since 2018 and spent four years connected to the Oregon High School Bowling Club before helping launch the New Glarus program.
