Capital North Conference Dual Night: Sugar River Shows Depth, Takes Second Overall
Sugar River finished second at Capital North Conference Dual Night, winning three duals and falling only to Lodi. Strong performances across the lineup powered a standout night at Lake Mills.
VERONA, Wis. – The Sugar River Raiders wrestling team turned in a strong all-around performance Thursday night at Capital North Conference Dual Night, finishing second overall in the varsity boys standings after a competitive round-robin event at Lake Mills High School.
The Raiders, a cooperative representing Belleville, Monticello and New Glarus high schools, posted three dual wins on the night and finished just behind Lodi in the final conference order. Sugar River recorded victories over Lake Mills, Lakeside Lutheran and Waupun while falling only to Lodi, which claimed the conference title.
