MINERAL POINT, Wis. — Sugar River Raiders senior Nora Christensen placed second Saturday at the WIAA Girls Sectional G-E Tournament in Mineral Point, earning a trip to the WIAA State Wrestling Tournament and making program history in the process.

With her runner-up finish, Christensen becomes the first female wrestler in Sugar River history to qualify for the WIAA State Wrestling Tournament. The state tournament will be held Feb. 26-28, 2026, at the Kohl Center in Madison.
