College Students Study Future Redesign of New Glarus Village Hall

A group of University of Wisconsin–Platteville engineering students has completed a detailed design concept examining how the New Glarus Village Hall could be reconfigured once the public library vacates the building later this year.

The project was developed as part of the Fall 2025 Senior Design Capstone Course at UW-Platteville and submitted to the Village of New Glarus as an academic exercise. The work was completed by a student consulting team including Zach Maly of New Berlin, Jack Gustke of Oak Creek, Josh Hewins of Hilbert, and Ben Younker of Genoa, Illinois.
