A fast start wasn’t enough for the New Glarus Glarner Knights, as Columbus used steady perimeter shooting and balanced scoring to pull away for a 65–45 win in the home opener.
The home gym was loud, the student section buzzing, and for the opening minutes Tuesday night it looked like the Glarner Knights might feed off that energy and stay unbeaten. But after an encouraging start, New Glarus couldn’t keep up with the consistent perimeter shooting and balanced scoring of Columbus, falling 65–45 in the home opener.
