Deer Harvest Remains Strong In Green County As Gun Season Wraps Up
Green County hunters registered 2,279 deer during Wisconsin’s nine-day gun season, according to preliminary DNR data. Statewide totals dipped slightly from 2024, with antlered harvest down and antlerless up.
Green County hunters once again turned in solid numbers during Wisconsin’s nine-day gun deer season, which officially ended Sunday, Nov. 30. According to preliminary figures from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Green County’s registered harvest now stands at 2,279 deer so far this year. That includes 1,177 antlered deer and 1,102 antlerless deer.
