New Glarus 360 is expanding its coverage to better reflect the full life of the community with a dedicated section focused on faith and local religious institutions.

Churches and faith-based organizations in New Glarus play a meaningful role in our community. From weekly worship services and holiday celebrations to youth programs, mission trips, community meals and service projects, these institutions are woven into the fabric of the community in ways both visible and behind the scenes.

To recognize that impact, New Glarus 360 has created a Faith section on its website and is inviting local congregations and ministries to share their news and updates.

The platform is still in its early stages but continues to grow quickly, with more than 4,400 followers on Facebook and more than 1,100 subscribers on the website. That reach provides an opportunity for churches to connect not only with longtime members, but also with new families, visitors and residents who may be looking to get involved.

New Glarus 360 welcomes previews of upcoming services and special gatherings, including holiday observances, guest speakers, concerts, outreach events and fundraisers. The publication is also interested in covering milestone anniversaries, leadership transitions, building improvements, youth mission trips, volunteer efforts and other stories that highlight the work being done in the community.

Organizations that prefer not to write a full article can simply send the basic details — who, what, where, when and why — and the New Glarus 360 team will draft the story. Including one or two quotes from a pastor, council member or volunteer, along with a photograph or two, will help the piece stand out and provide readers with a clearer sense of the people behind the work.

Faith has long been part of what makes New Glarus unique. This new section is designed to ensure those stories are shared and preserved alongside the rest of the village’s news.

Church leaders and ministry coordinators are encouraged to reach out with questions, ideas or upcoming events to ensure their work is reflected in ongoing coverage.
