Four Glarner Knights Earn All-Conference Honors
New Glarus girls basketball players Kalia Malaise, Ellie Brenkman, Kate Parman and Ellie Parman were recognized by the Capitol South Conference after a 14-12 season and 7-1 conference finish.
Four New Glarus varsity girls basketball players received Capitol South Conference all-conference honors after a strong 2025-26 season for the Glarner Knights. Kalia Malaise and Ellie Brenkman were selected first team all-conference, Kate Parman was named second team all-conference and Ellie Parman received honorable mention. The honors came after New Glarus finished 14-12 overall and 7-1 in conference play.
The recognition reflects the balance New Glarus showed throughout the season, with multiple players contributing in scoring, rebounding, passing and defense. Brenkman, Kate Parman, Malaise and Ellie Parman each played central roles in helping the Knights put together one of the stronger conference seasons in the area.
