MARSHALL, Wis. — The New Glarus Glarner Knights saw a 14-point first-half lead disappear Saturday night, falling 76-74 to the Marshall Cardinals after late free throws with 4.2 seconds remaining decided the Capitol South Conference matchup at Marshall High School Gymnasium.
New Glarus controlled the tempo early, shooting confidently from the perimeter and sharing the ball well, but a prolonged scoring drought before halftime flipped the momentum and forced the Glarner Knights to chase for much of the second half.
