Kalia Malaise sank two 3-pointers, added four baskets from inside the arc and went 4-for-4 at the free-throw line to lead the Glarner Knights past Marshall 53-41.

MARSHALL, Wis. – New Glarus built its lead the hard way Thursday night, leaning on defense, grit and timely shots to secure a 53-41 Capitol-South Conference win over Marshall in a low-scoring battle at the Marshall High School gymnasium.

The Glarner Knights trailed by one at halftime but took control in the final minutes, outworking the Cardinals on both ends of the floor and turning defense into decisive offense down the stretch.
