ARGYLE, Wis. – The New Glarus Glarner Knights ran into one of the state’s toughest early-season tests Monday night, falling 61-44 to No. 2 Division 5 Argyle/Pecatonica in nonconference girls basketball action at the Argyle High School Gymnasium.
While the loss drops New Glarus to 5-6 on the season, the Knights again showed they are willing to compete with top-tier programs, taking on their third ranked opponent in recent games and refusing to back down from a fast, aggressive Orioles squad that improved to 10-1 overall.
