New Glarus erased a 14-point deficit and battled to the final seconds before a late surge lifted Lodi to a 73-66 win Monday night at New Glarus High School.
The New Glarus Glarner Knights showed resilience, energy and fight, but a late push by the visiting Lodi Blue Devils proved decisive in a 73-66 nonconference loss Monday night at the New Glarus High School gymnasium.
The matchup pitted two strong Capitol Conference programs against one another, with New Glarus entering the night 11-5 overall and undefeated in Capitol South play. Lodi arrived with a comparable 11-6 record and a reputation for offensive firepower, led by senior Theo Traeder.
