The New Glarus Glarner Knights showed grit and resolve Monday night, shaking off a long layoff and a brutal first half to outscore Lake Mills by 18 after the break in a 51-39 non-conference loss to the L-Cats.
The game marked New Glarus’ return to action following a weather cancellation last week and the fourth road game in a five-game stretch away from home. The Knights entered the night 4-2, while Lake Mills came in at 5-2 and had not lost since before Thanksgiving.
