Glarner Knights Rally Late To Earn Road Win At Mineral Point

MINERAL POINT, Wis. — The New Glarus Glarner Knights closed strong down the stretch Monday night, pulling away late to earn an impressive 77-64 nonconference boys basketball victory over the Mineral Point Pointers at Mineral Point High School Gymnasium.

Playing their first game after a weather-related cancellation last week, New Glarus improved to 3-1 on the season with a hard-fought road win in Iowa County. Mineral Point, which entered the night 1-0 after a narrow win Friday over Southwestern, made the Knights work for every possession.
