Imagine a future where getting around New Glarus does not always mean finding a parking spot or driving home after an evening downtown. A driverless vehicle could pick up a local resident on 14th Avenue, or even Pioneer Road, shuttle them downtown for dinner, then drop them safely back home — all without anyone needing to be behind the wheel. That same technology could one day help residents and visitors alike move easily between the village and destinations just outside town, making it easier and more convenient to get around.
