Whether you live in the Village or the Town, there are clear options to ensure your tree is composted properly and not sent to the landfill. Here’s what residents need to know this holiday season.
The Village of New Glarus offers a curbside pickup program each year for natural Christmas trees. Village crews collect trees from the day after Christmas through Jan. 31. Trees should be placed at the curbline with all lights, ornaments, tinsel, wire, and stands removed. Artificial trees are not accepted as part of the curbside program.
