Louise Denise Lee, 69, Whose Faith and Family Guided Her Life, Dies
Louise Denise Lee, 69, died Monday, March 16, 2026, at the New Glarus Home. Born in Quebec, Canada, she later lived in Florida, Tennessee and New Glarus, where she worked and remained close to family.

Louise Denise Lee, age 69 passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026 at the New Glarus Home. She was born on July 19, 1956 in Sainte-Monique-De-Honfleur, Quebec, Canada the daughter of Claude and Denise (Rossignol) Deschenes. Louise and her family emigrated to Florida in 1971 where she graduated from Deerfield Beach High School in 1974. Louise first married Michel Lamontagne and they had three sons Mark, Kevin, and Shawn. The family moved to Tennessee in 1991. While in Tennessee, Louise began working in the hotel and hospitality industry. After her husband Michel passed in 1999, she would later marry Walter Lee. Following Walter’s death in 2018, Louise moved to New Glarus to be closer to her son Mark. While in New Glarus she had worked at the Chalet Landhaus and was a member of the New Glarus Bible Church. Throughout Louise’s life her church and family were the most important.
