MADISON, Wis. — Sugar River Wrestling’s Madox Mau finished second in Division 2 at 106 pounds Saturday night, falling 4-0 to sophomore Drey Kren of Regis/Altoona in the WIAA Individual State championship match at the Kohl Center.

Mau’s title bout appearance capped a remarkable state tournament run for the Belleville/Monticello/New Glarus standout and secured a runner-up finish on Wisconsin’s biggest wrestling stage.
