New Glarus’ Moon Man Pale Ale earned national recognition this week after being named one of Golf.com’s top 15 “golf beers” of the year, placing the local favorite alongside some of the sport’s most widely enjoyed brews.

In its fifth annual roundup, Golf.com emphasized that nearly any beer can qualify as a great golf beer, whether enjoyed at a municipal course, a clubhouse grill room, or a private club. Still, Moon Man Pale Ale stood out enough to make the publication’s short list.
