New Glarus Alum Steve Stettler Honored at World Cheese Contest

MADISON, Wis. – A New Glarus High School graduate is being recognized on the international stage of the dairy industry.

Steve Stettler, master cheesemaker and owner of Decatur Dairy in Brodhead, recently received the Eggebrecht Award during the 2026 World Championship Cheese Contest in Madison, honoring his decades of volunteer service supporting one of the world’s largest dairy product competitions.
