The New Glarus Chamber of Commerce and New Glarus Police Department are again partnering to host the annual New Glarus Bike Rodeo, a free community event for children in kindergarten through fourth grade. The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is designed to help children build safer bicycling habits and confidence on their bikes.

Organizers say the event will include more than just bike safety instruction, with free bike helmets, goodie bags, lunch for families, a petting zoo and bike giveaways planned as part of the afternoon. Local businesses are now being asked to help support the event through sponsorships and donations.
