Church Volunteers Assist with Good Friday Blood Drive

The New Glarus Community Blood Drive will be held Friday, April 3, at New Glarus Bible Church, 207 Sixth St., with donation appointments available from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The annual Good Friday drive is sponsored by Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church and conducted with the American Red Cross.

The blood drive has become a yearly part of Holy Week in New Glarus, while also serving an important need beyond the community. Organizers say the Bible church location provides the best setup for the Red Cross blood collection process and donor flow.
