PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The New Glarus Glarner Knights continued an impressive early return to track and field Thursday night, winning multiple events and piling up high finishes at the UW-Platteville High School Invitational inside Williams Fieldhouse, where no team scores were kept.

Just the second meet for the program since returning for the first time since 1989, it offered another sign that New Glarus is not simply back on the track — it is already competing near the front.
