New Glarus School District Launches Elementary Knight School Program
The after-school program offers small-group reading and math support, transportation and mentorship from high school volunteers to help elementary students succeed.
The New Glarus School District wants to remind people about its after-school academic support program aimed at helping elementary students strengthen foundational skills while building positive connections with school staff and peers.
Knight School is held after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and focuses on reinforcing reading and math skills in a small-group setting. The program is staffed by certified teachers who provide targeted instruction designed to meet individual student needs and build confidence in a supportive environment.
