New Glarus Students Partner with Local Businesses

Students in a marketing class at New Glarus High School are stepping beyond the classroom and into the real world through a program that pairs them directly with local businesses to solve practical marketing challenges.

The Student-Business Partnerships program, led by Business Education Teacher Erin Speth, allows juniors and seniors to collaborate with area organizations on marketing projects lasting eight to 10 weeks. The initiative gives students a chance to apply what they learn in class while providing local businesses with fresh ideas and practical support.
