New Glarus Students to Join Concert Festival

Choir students from New Glarus and other area schools will perform April 15 at a free public concert music festival at New Glarus High School.

New Glarus Students to Join Concert Festival

Students from New Glarus and several other area schools will take part in a Wisconsin School Music Association-sanctioned Concert Music Festival on Wednesday, April 15, at New Glarus High School. The free event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to the public.

The festival will feature choir ensemble performances before a panel of adjudicators, with students also listening to other schools as part of the learning experience. Schools expected to participate include Columbus High School, Nikolay Middle School, Lake Mills High School, Marshall High School, Marshall Middle School, New Glarus High School and New Glarus Middle School. New Glarus choir director Em Sternberg will serve as festival manager.
