Customers in and around New Glarus have been experiencing problems with their T-Mobile (née UScellular) service since late Thursday, with some unable to reliably make calls, send texts or use their phones as usual.

A representative of Quality Cellular, 1305 Highway 69, New Glarus, said the store has been fielding calls from local customers as the sporadic outage continues and that the problem appears to be connected to maintenance work tied to the transition from UScellular to T-Mobile.
