On a Monday night before Christmas, the New Glarus Glarner Knights delivered a strong response at home, using defense, patience and a late first-half surge to pull away from Cuba City for a convincing nonconference win at New Glarus High School.

Coming off a tough 74-65 road loss at Lakeside Lutheran, the Knights returned to their home floor looking to reset. What followed was a gritty, physical game early that eventually turned into a statement performance against a Cuba City team that had beaten New Glarus a year ago.
