The New Glarus Chamber of Commerce is deep into the process of producing this year’s New Glarus Visitor’s Guide, a multi-page publication that promotes the village to travelers across Wisconsin and beyond. Funded entirely through advertising from local businesses, the guide serves as one of the Chamber’s primary tools for encouraging tourism and introducing visitors to everything New Glarus has to offer.

“The Visitor Guide is an annual publication that the Chamber puts out and distributes across the state to rest stops, hotels and other destinations to help promote tourism for New Glarus,” said Annie O’Connor, executive director of the New Glarus Chamber of Commerce. “The earliest copy that I have in my office is from 1985.”
