Representatives from the Village of New Glarus, the Town of New Glarus, the New Glarus School District, the New Glarus Home, and New Glarus Cares met this week to discuss plans for developing new pickleball courts in the community, marking an early but important step toward expanding recreational opportunities in the community.

Those involved described the tone of the meeting as positive. The discussion concluded with agreement to explore and prioritize potential locations for the courts. While no site has been selected, officials indicated that Veterans Park, where the existing tennis courts are located, may not be a suitable option.
