Students will compete Friday at UW–Platteville as part of the Wisconsin SkillsUSA regional, showcasing hands-on skills alongside 300+ students statewide.

NGHS Students Head to SkillsUSA Regional Competition

Students from New Glarus High School will be among more than 315 students from across Wisconsin competing in the second Wisconsin SkillsUSA regional competition Friday, Jan. 30, at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville.

Hosted by UW–Platteville’s College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture (BILSA), the event brings together high school students to showcase their skills in a wide range of technical and career-focused fields. SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization that works with students, educators, and industry leaders to help prepare the next generation of skilled professionals and workforce leaders.
