New Glarus has a new leader at its municipal utility, and Pat Blair says his focus is clear from the start: keep a strong system reliable while preparing it for the future. Blair, who is stepping into the director’s role at New Glarus Utilities, brings nearly a decade of experience in the electric utility industry to the job.

For residents who have not yet met him, Blair said both his professional background and his family’s connection to the area made the opportunity especially meaningful. “I have been in the electric utility industry for going on 10 years now and am looking forward to serving New Glarus and focusing on how to continue to keep such a good system reliable and ready for new load growth,” he said.
