A longtime Wednesday Lenten tradition in the Town of Primrose brings neighbors together for soup, bread, fellowship and a short message, with meals continuing March 18 and March 25.

Primrose Lutheran Church is continuing a longtime Lenten tradition of Wednesday evening meals, inviting people to gather for soup, bread and fellowship before a short meditative message from Pastor Jason. The church is located at 8770 Ridge Drive, Belleville.

Marsha Ralston Edlinger said the church has gathered for many years on Lenten Wednesday nights, with soup available beginning at 6 p.m. The meals also tie into confirmation and mentor time for youth after they eat.
