Rainbow Fleece Farm Weaves Tradition

Rainbow Fleece Farm, tucked into the countryside on Pioneer Road northwest of New Glarus, is the kind of place where agriculture and craftsmanship can thrive. The farm raises sheep, produces wool and lamb, and operates an on-site fiber business that has built a following among knitters, spinners, felters and others drawn to natural fibers and farm-made goods.

Owner Patty Reedy describes it as “a small grass farm set in the beautiful Driftless region of Wisconsin.” That description helps explain the business well. It is both a working farm and a place where visitors can see how fleece becomes fiber, yarn and finished goods.
