Second Crop Creative Captures Decisive Moments

Ross Harried has become a familiar name to many in New Glarus, even if some residents know his images before they know his name. The photographer behind Second Crop Creative has spent the past several years documenting community life, local sports and special events across Green County, including New Glarus.

His work first caught wide local attention three or four years ago, when he shared a series of aerial photos of New Glarus under a vivid sky after a late afternoon storm. Those images circulated widely and helped introduce many residents to his eye for light, timing and composition. And the patience to wait for decisive moments. Since then, he has photographed the World Euchre Championship for the past two years, along with numerous New Glarus community scenes and New Glarus High School sports.
