A fast-moving winter storm swept through southern Wisconsin Saturday night, dropping four inches of fresh snow in New Glarus just after Christkindli Market closed for the evening. The heaviest totals were farther south, with Janesville reporting more than six inches and Monroe and Rockford each topping five.
