Storm Damage Disrupts New Glarus Wäsche Center Services
Storm damage in New Glarus knocked out credit card terminals at New Glarus Wäsche Center, affecting the laundromat, car wash bays and dog wash as the business works to restore service.
New Glarus Wäsche Center, 1500 State Hwy. 69, is working to restore several services after a storm rolled through New Glarus a few days ago and damaged self-serve credit card terminals at the facility, according to owner Angela Neff. The laundromat is now operating on coins only and the bill changer does work.
Neff said the damage affected credit card service throughout the facility, along with both car wash bays and the dog wash. She said she believed the damage was caused by lightning and a subsequent surge of electricity following a power outage.
