BELLEVILLE, Wis. — The Sugar River girls soccer team opened its varsity season Tuesday night with a convincing 3-0 victory over Dodgeville-Mineral Point in a nonconference match at Belleville Stadium.
The Raiders, a Belleville-New Glarus cooperative, wasted little time setting the tone in the first match of the season for both teams, building a two-goal lead in the opening half and never letting up.
