Tazeh Celebrated as Capitol Conference Player of the Year
New Glarus senior honored at Glarner Knights game as Sugar River soccer standout recognized alongside team championship celebration.
New Glarus senior Tikeh Tazeh was honored Tuesday night for earning the Capitol Conference Boys Soccer Player of the Year award, as his Sugar River teammates were also recognized for their conference championship during a halftime ceremony at the Glarner Knights boys basketball game against Belleville.
The recognition came on a night when New Glarus and Belleville faced off as rivals on the basketball court, even as their student athletes are allies on the pitch when competing as the Sugar River soccer cooperative.
