The Bank of New Glarus Announces Board Changes, Engen to Retire
Greg Engen will retire from the Bank of New Glarus board at the end of 2025, closing a 39-year career with the bank, including 14 years as a board member, as leadership changes were announced last week.
The Bank of New Glarus and its holding company, Bancorp of New Glarus, Inc., announced last week a series of changes to their boards of directors, including the retirement of longtime board member Greg Engen and the appointment of John Knellwolf.
Engen will retire from the board effective Dec. 31, 2025, concluding a 39-year career with the Bank of New Glarus, including 14 years of service as a board member. During his tenure, Engen played a key role in guiding the bank’s growth and expansion, with particular emphasis on his leadership and service on the loan committee.
