The Town of New Glarus issued a Notice of Polling Place Change on Saturday, informing voters that upcoming voting will take place at the new Green County Maintenance Garage located at W6185 Highway 39, New Glarus. The site will be used for in-person absentee voting from Monday through Thursday, March 24 through April 2, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and for Election Day voting from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The change is notable because the new garage will serve as the town’s polling place for the first time. The notice identifies the location as the new maintenance garage, marking a shift for voters who may be used to casting ballots elsewhere in previous elections.
