Town of York Purchases New Multi-Season Truck

A new 2026 International HV Series truck with plow, salt spreader and 13-foot stainless dump body is set to replace an older town truck and give the Town of York a more versatile piece of equipment for winter roads and year-round hauling.

According to Clerk-Treasurer Brenda Hackbart, the Town of York purchased the new 2026 International HV Series truck for approximately $280,000, a price that includes the chassis, plow, salt spreader, dump body and related equipment. The truck was purchased from Lakeside International Trucks, of Janesville, with the equipment package supplied by Monroe Truck Equipment in Monroe. Town officials said the purchase has been in the works since 2024 and will replace another truck in the town fleet.
