William S. Beckwith, Painter and Outdoorsman from New Glarus, Dies at 67

A lifelong New Glarus resident, Beckwith worked for years at Federal Industries and was known for his love of hunting, fishing, and Wisconsin sports.

William S. Beckwith, age 67 passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026 in his home.  He was born on May 25, 1958 in Monroe, WI the son of Robert and Mae (Heimann) Beckwith.  Bill graduated from New Glarus High School in 1977.  He worked as a painter at Federal Industries in Belleville for many years.  Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing along with morel hunting each Spring.  He was also an avid Packer, Badger, and WWE fan.
