Ana Siegenthaler Crowned New Glarus Dairy Queen
The newly crowned 2026-27 New Glarus Dairy Queen comes from a family with deep Green County agricultural roots and hopes to promote Wisconsin agriculture, strengthen her public speaking skills and represent the community at events.
Ana Siegenthaler was crowned the 2026-27 New Glarus Dairy Queen last week, giving the community a new ambassador for agriculture and the local dairy industry.
Siegenthaler said the honor is one she admired from afar for years before deciding recently to pursue the role herself.
“I always thought it was cool to see the Dairy Queens in the parades and how pretty they looked and of course I wanted to be just like them,” she said. “It wasn’t till a few months ago that I really was interested in becoming Dairy Queen, but once I found out more about it and realized how good of an opportunity it was not only just to meet new people and show my face in the community but also to gain better speaking skills, I knew it was something I wanted to do.”
While Siegenthaler did not grow up on a farm, agriculture has long been part of her family’s story.
