Vendors, visitors and public safety officials described Beer, Bacon & Cheese and Polkafest as a successful weekend in New Glarus, with strong attendance, favorable weather, enthusiastic crowds and only a handful of minor issues reported.
Organizers, vendors and public safety officials are describing this weekend's Beer, Bacon & Cheese Festival and Polkafest as a successful celebration that brought large crowds to downtown New Glarus with few problems.
"We had a great time and turn out. People were super grateful," said Audrey Blum of Bluming Sol Pilates.
"What a fun weekend," added Sarah Marty of Madison.
Several vendors interviewed also said they enjoyed strong attendance and positive interactions with visitors throughout the weekend.
"It was a really great event on a beautiful day," said Bethany Jones, communications specialist for Babcock Dairy Store.
"I liked Polkafest. It is always a fun festival with lots of happy people," said Jackie Judd of Jackie's European Imports.
