Belleville Community Picnic Returns This Weekend
Belleville’s 75th annual Community Picnic brings three days of carnival rides, fireworks, live music, tournaments, food and family activities to Sugar River Park and Community Park from Friday through Sunday.
BELLEVILLE, Wis. — The Belleville Community Picnic returns this weekend, Aug. 7-9, celebrating its 75th year with three days of entertainment, competitions, food and family activities at Sugar River Park and Community Park.
The celebration begins Friday with Family Night and Glow Night. Carnival rides will operate from 5 to 8:30 p.m. and resume after the fireworks until 11 p.m. Friday’s events also include adult kickball, bingo, balloon twisting, face painting, softball and an open bags tournament.
Fireworks are scheduled for dusk Friday at Sugar River Park, with Sunday listed as the rain date. The band 1884 will perform in the beer tent following the fireworks from 9:30 p.m. to midnight.
