Blues, Brews & Food Truck Festival Takes Over Downtown
This year’s New Glarus festival moves downtown July 18 with live blues, a beer tent featuring suds from the hometown brewery, an eclectic mix of food trucks and a lineup built to turn 1st Street into a full summer music scene for all.
The Blues, Brews & Food Truck Festival will bring live music, cold beer and a wide range of food trucks to downtown New Glarus on Saturday, July 18, giving one of the village’s summer events a new home and a bigger downtown feel.
The festival, previously held at Village Park, is moving to 1st Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues, where a large tent, food vendors, music and beverages will help turn the downtown block into a daylong festival space.
That means the event will be closer to local shops, restaurants and other downtown businesses, with visitors able to spend the day moving between music, food, drinks and the rest of New Glarus. A beer tent downtown will feature suds from New Glarus’ hometown brewery, while food trucks will descend on the village with an eclectic variety of different foods.
