Blues, Brews & Food Trucks Festival Seeks Volunteers for July 18 Event
With downtown New Glarus expected to welcome thousands for live music, food trucks and cold drinks, festival organizers are looking for volunteer help July 18 and offering local groups a paid fundraising opportunity.
Community groups have an opportunity to raise funds while helping one of New Glarus' biggest summer festivals run smoothly, as organizers seek volunteers for the annual Blues, Brews & Food Trucks Festival on Saturday, July 18. Individual volunteers are also encouraged to participate and will receive a free event T-shirt as a thank-you for their time.
With thousands of visitors expected to fill downtown New Glarus for a day of live blues music, local food trucks and cold beverages, organizers say community volunteers play an important role in ensuring the festival remains clean, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.
The festival is currently seeking organizations, clubs, sports teams and other community groups to serve on its trash crew throughout the day. The volunteer opportunity also doubles as a fundraiser, with participating groups receiving compensation for helping maintain the festival grounds.
