New Glarus Fire Department Dispatched to Vehicle Fire at Bank
A vehicle with hobbyist plates was reported “half engulfed” Wednesday evening near The Bank of New Glarus entrance along Highway 69 after apparently leaving a car show at the New Glarus Home earlier in the evening.
The New Glarus Fire Department was dispatched Wednesday evening to The Bank of New Glarus, 1101 Highway 69, for a report of an automobile on fire.
According to scanner traffic, the vehicle was parked in the driveway across from Casey's and was described as “half engulfed” when crews arrived. Scanner traffic also indicated the vehicle had hobbyist license plates.
The vehicle is believed to have been at the car show at the New Glarus Home earlier Wednesday evening before the fire was reported near the bank.
